In the past year, sci-fi has undoubtedly become one of my favourite movie genres. One reason I enjoy it so much is because the sci-fi genre is uniquely qualified to tackle topics of the modern day; from AI to space travel to fascism. Sci-fi has the power to be awe-inspiring, fear-mongering, thought-provoking and entertaining.
