Biscuit Slice
Recipe makes - 1 20cmx20cm tin of slice
Step 1
Line your slice/cake tin with baking paper
Step 2
Put sugar and butter in a pan and heat until sugar is partially dissolved. Leave to cool for 5 minutes
Step 3
Add egg and mix well, then add vanilla and cocoa powder
Step 4
Crush biscuits to chunks, then add to mixture and combine
Step 5
Press mixture into the prepared tin and refridgerate
Step 6
Making the icing: Mix the sugar and cocoa powder together, then add butter. Add boiling water and stir until desired consistency. Should be spreadable
Step 7
Pour icing over slice and spread to form an even layer. Refrigerate until properly set before serving
