Risk of rain is an PVE, roguelike, shooter game, where you must overcome ever increasing difficulty overtime forcing you to progress before it overwhelms you. You spawn in from a drop pod after selecting one of 14 characters, each with their own abilities and playstyles, You unlock some of these characters by completing different objectives in the game or by unlocking the new void DLC, Once chosen you are deployed on an alien planet where you must shoot enemies, collect currency to buy unique items to aid you. Your goal is to find and open teleporters. You will need to kill the boss, stay in the loading zone and stay alive for 90s inside. You repeat this cycle until the end boss in which you fight Mithrix and escape to the ship.
