Cricket in Papamoa

Papamoa Cricket Club is located at Alice Johnson oval and has been expanding every year since 2017. It recently got a fancy new pavilion that is used during games at the main pitch. Its roof is shaped like a cricket bat, and it has giant windows that players are already trying to break by hitting a massive six. Inside the pavilion is a piece of metal with records engraved that sits on the back wall. There is even a TV that you can watch cricket on! The pitch has nice green grass that is well maintained throughout the year.

Grades in cricket

There are cricket grades for everyone from little year 2s to adults. Listed below are the grades that you will be put in if you would like to play. For more information on divisions & cost click the link here for costs & here for divisions. Registrations will open in August, See you out there!

1. Division 10 - players up to Year 2
2. Division 9 - players in Year 3 and 4
3. Division 8 - players in Year 5 and 6
4. Division 7 - players in Year 7 and 8
5. Division 6 - players in Year 9 and 10
6. Division 5 - players in Year 9 - 13
7. Senior cricket
