My Best Friend
My best friend, Lilly, is thirteen, and has been my best friend
for three, almost four, years. We met in Mount Maunganui
Intermediate, where on my first day of year eight and her first
day of year seven, she was extremely anxious as anyone would be
in a brand new school where you don't know anyone. In a moment
of confidence, I approached her and asked if she needed help with
the work. From there we just grew closer and closer. we have
never fought or argued and we always agree on the same things.
She's like a sister to me.

My Cat Bubbles
I know a cat is not a person, but if my cat, bubbles, were a person,
he would be my favorite person. Bubbles is a tuxedo cat who was
abandoned on a farm nearly a year ago, as a kitten. He was very
small when he was found and underweight so we waited three weeks
for him to gain weight before finally bringing him home. His teal
eyes were so big on his small face, it looked like he had bubbles
for eyes, which is where his name came from. While he is very
naughty and wrecks everything in the house, I wouldn't have him
any less chaotic, and I love him to bits.
