Plastic pollution is a major issue in our waters, with a judgement of 8 to 10,000,000 measurement piles of plastic finishing up in the sea per year, likely upcoming in the future where plastic outbalance fish by 2050.

What is plastic pollution?

Somewhere around millions of small objects called plastic enter our oceans once a year, within 57-75 million million pieces of plastic and smaller pices called microplastic are still to this day. Many different ways a sea animal could die from this are entanglement, ingestion injuries and poisoned. Around hundred millions of sealife are dying, not just fish, but also, sea birds and reptiles and mammals. The way pollution can get into our oceans is that wind/rainwater carries it and into our waterways and even through drains.
