Birthday Frog
A frog, so small, so green, so bright, Hops into the sun, on a special night. It's his birthday today, the frog declares, Leaping high with no cares. "Jump, jump, jump!" he croaks with glee, A leap for joy, as free as can be. The pond is full of bubbly cheer, His friends gather 'round, drawing near. "A hop, a jump, a wish to make, A birthday leap for goodness' sake!" Little frogs gather, in party hats, With lily pads for plates, and flies for snacks. The water shimmers with laughter and song, For the birthday frog, who leaps along. Gifts in the form of dragonflies, Dancing overhead, beneath the skies. The day is his, so wild, so sweet, With every hop, his joy complete.
