📖 What is a Limerick?
A limerick is a form of humorous or whimsical poetry consisting of five lines. It has a specific rhyme and meter pattern:
- Lines 1, 2, and 5: 8 or 9 syllables, rhyme with each other
- Lines 3 and 4: 5 or 6 syllables, rhyme with each other
Limericks often tell a short, funny story and follow an AABBA rhyme scheme.
