Cache Description

Second Cache Another Quick cache in the series around the Mount.

The container is a film canister packed in a plastic bag.

An easy cache on a very high frequented track around the base of the Mauao (the Mount Maunganui) This place is a sacred place for the Maori people and an historic reserve. The Maori own the Mount the Tauranga City Council manages it. Stunning ocean and harbour views entreat you most of the way.

Please be careful when you retrieve the cache.

Finding the Cache

Cache Box This cache was a small white film canister hidden in a very typical cache hiding place. Inside was a small plastic bag with a roll of paper to log our visit. There wasn't much else due to lack of space. But nevertheless a fun cache to find, and almost glaringly obvious to find.
