Halfcasters
Rangers are a more frowned upon class for their lack of damage dealing and a way to play them with an interesting story, this is because they are very fond of nature and that's where they get their powers so they can't really leave their forest unless something threatens them but in another perspective they are a ranged halfcaster that uses nature magic similar to the druid, these are profound hunters that have mastered the bow.

Warlocks are one of if not the most complicated class because they gain a lot of abilities based on the pact they choose, these pacts are separate deals that they made with a deity (usually a demon) that gives them powers. The three pacts are: pact of the chain, pact of the sword, and pact of the tomb. pact of the tomb makes you more spell based giving more spell slots and known spells. The pact of the sword allowed you to make a magic sword that does magical damage. The pact of the chain gives you a familiar or a pet that can scout and obey you.

paladins are protectors that get power from an oath that they made, this makes them really fun to roleplay but they also start with some heavy chainmail armour and a long sword smiting their enemies as they strike them down, literally. the type of oath they swore e.g. oath of the ancients gives them an affinity to plants while oath of vengeance gives them damage buffs.
